Public Health Program - DrPH in Epidemiology

The Ponce School of Medicine Dr.PH in Epidemiology degree requires students to complete 63 credit units for those that have MPH and 81 credits for the students that don’t have MPH. These credit units are usually completed over a period of four years. Each academic year is divided into three trimesters and students are usually enrolled in an average of nine credit units per trimester.

Doctoral courses are dividing in “Core” (18 credits). For students that no have a MPH degree, required courses (15 credits), Selective (12 credits) 6 credits in Epidemiology and 6 credits in Biostatistics, Electives (12 credits), Seminaries (6 credits) and Dissertation (18 credits) see the table.
