ANA 601 Human Gross Anatomy, Embryology and Imaging

Course Description: Detailed study of the regional and systemic normal structure and functional organization of the human body. Lectures, conferences, prosection, imaging and clinical correlations. Lectures on the basic development of human organs and systems correlated with Gross Anatomy Course.

Course Description: The course will deal with the study and review of the new advances in research related to Gross Anatomy, Embryology, Histology, Cell Biology and original ideas in order to obtain knowledge in this field by carrying out the adequate research activities.

Course Description: Study of a representative chronology of the main anatomical events recorded up to the present time, emphasizing the particular circumstances of the historic epoch and the location where they happened.

Course Description: The course deals with the appropriate teaching activities to become a teacher in Anatomical Sciences.

Course Description: Study of basic and standard histological procedures and some specialized techniques to meet the diverse needs of medical researchers.

ANA 625 Advanced Embryology

Course Description: This course is a complement to the basic embryology course. The practical aspect of embryology will be used to create a tri-dimensional image of the embryo. This will be reinforced by the use of light microscope slides and atlases.

ANA 651 Instrumentation

Course Description: Study of the physical processes of the instrumentation used in the research work of the student. Includes basicoptics, electricity and electronics of the instruments.
