Ob-Gyn Research

Current Projects

In collaboration with OB-GYN Department of Saint Luke’s Hospital there is an on going research on the prevalence of Helicobacter Pilory in pregnant patient with Hypermesis gravidarium, Endometriosis, Human Papilloma Virus. Group Beta hemolytic streptococo prevalence in our obstetrical population.

The Obstetrics and Gynecology department is collaborating with Dr. Idhaliz Flores, Associated Professor of the Microbiology Department in a study to evaluate genetic/familiar tendencies in endometriosis of Puerto Rican women.
