The HESL has
accredited Residency Programs in Transitional Year,
Pediatrics, Internal Medicine and Obstetrics & Gynecology as
well as an excellent Surgery service offered by prestigious
Surgeons in Ponce.
This provides the Transitional Year Residents with intensive
interaction with residents in other programs. It also serves
as one of the main clinical teaching consortium institutions
to students from the Ponce School of Medicine.
