Career Development:

We organize different talks during the graduate seminar session that are focused on motivation and survival in a scientific career. Topics include: how to choose a mentor, how to survive graduate school, and how to write proposals and scientific documents.

Educational Activities:

The association is fully involved in scientific fairs organized for high school and undergraduate students who are pursuing studies in sciences. In addition to giving scientific advice, we evaluate the studies presented at the fairs and award those that show the most talent.

Research Workshops:

Each year the members of the GSA meet to give poster and oral presentations about their current research projects. The goal is to share scientific knowledge and help each other with different points of view. Those activities have strengthened us, enabling us to give talks and seminars at cutting-edge conferences and research forums.

Getting Funded and Having Fun!!

Not everything is research!!! We organize social and sportive activities not only partially in order to collect the funds necessary for supporting the GSA, but mostly to have fun!!!!!

BBQ Sales:

These are our favorites. At midday, in the green areas of our campuses, we kick off the lab-coats and go to the grills. The idea is simple: enjoy!!!

Basketball and Volleyball Tournaments:

Once a year we reserve a weekend for gettting in good shape!!! All of the PSM students are invited to join us and compete for the championship cup. The goal: the main dish? Victory! The side dish is BBQ hot dogs and double-cheese extra beef burgers!!!
