I obtained my bachelors' degree in 2003 from
the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in
the concentration areas of Animal Science
and Biology. I later pursued a master degree
in the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez
Campus. I became involved in molecular
genetics under the guidance of Dr. Juan C.
Martínez.
I have been involved in a number of
molecular genetics investigations throughout
my brief professional career. In late 2009,
I commenced working as the Molecular Biology
Core Laboratory (MBCL) research technician.
I provide technical support and intellectual
consultation to all Ponce School of Medicine
Molecular Biology investigations, as well as
to the local community.
