Overview of the PRCTRC
 

Internal Advisory Committee
 

An Internal Advisory Committee (IAC) will assist the Co-Program Directors in the governance of the PRCTRC. The IAC is comprised with researchers and faculty from multiple disciplines from all three collaborating institutions, industry and prominent members of the community.

    Professor in the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology, Ponce School of Medicine & Health Sciences. Area of expertise: GI Physiology/ Colon Cancer

     
  • Melvin Bonilla-Felix, MD

    Chair in the Department of Pediatrics-UPR. Area of Expertise: Renal Physiology and Disease/Clinical Trials

     
  • Luis Cubano, PhD

    Assistant Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, Universidad Central del Caribe. Area of expertise: Cell Biology/HIV Drug resistance

     
  • Emma Fernandez Repollet, PhD

    RCMI Program Director and Professor of Pharmacology at the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus. Area of expertise: Pharmacology/ Insulin Receptor
