Members of the EAC were
selected based on the area of research expertise,
administrative experience in multidisciplinary
research programs, familiarity with the mission,
goals, and main objectives of the RCMI Program, and
their commitment of assisting minority institutions
in elevating the competitiveness of their research
enterprises. The EAC was closely involved in the
selection and refinement of the Cores and Pilot
Research Project proposals submitted in the present
application. The EAC will annually assess the
developmental progress of Cores/research projects,
and will monitor the development of new proposals.
