Institutional Accreditations

Ponce Health Sciences University (PHSU) is accredited by the:

  • Puerto Rico Council of Education (PR-CE). The next accreditation site visit is scheduled for 2014.
  • Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MS-CHE). The next accreditation site visit is scheduled for 2017- 2018.

Specialized Accreditations

The Medical Education Program is accredited by the Liaison Commission on Medical Education (LCME). The next accreditation site visit is scheduled by 2015-2016.

The PhD Clinical Psychology Programs is accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA).The next accreditation site visit is scheduled by 2018.

The PsyD Clinical Psychology Program is accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA). The next accreditation site visit is scheduled for 2021.

The Public Health Program is accredited by the Council of Education in Public Health (CEPH). The next accreditation site visit is scheduled by 2018.

The Psychiatric Residency Program is accredited by the Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). The next accreditation site visit is scheduled for 2018.

The Continuing Medical Education Program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME).  The next evaluation is scheduled for 2018.
