VIDA Program (sponsored by Health Department)

Vision

Diminish suicidal cases in the southwest areas and develop capable professionals by means of workshop for the reduction of the risk factors and the increase of protective factors in the level of auto violence.

Mission

Provide counseling services to persons with suicidal ideation or attempt and post vention services to family of persons who commit suicide in the south west region. In addition, offer workshops to government employees and community leaders in the prevention and evaluation of suicidal behavior.

Participants
  •  Persons with suicidal attempted or ideation and their families

  • Families of people who committed suicide

  • Government employees from Justice Department, Fire Department, Medical Emergencies staff, Health Department, Family Department and Education Department.

  • Community leaders of the southwest region
