She joined the Department of Family and Community Medicine in 1984. She was the Residency Training Director at Dr. Pila Hospital/PSM Family Medicine Residency Program since 1996 until June 2003. Since July 2003 she is the Family Medicine Geriatrician Coordinator for the Community and Geriatrics Division.
