Dear
Colleague:
We are
pleased to introduce you to the exhibit
opportunities at the 12th RCMI International
Symposium on Health Disparities, to convene in
Nashville, Tennessee on December 6-9, 2010. Our
program is designed to create an atmosphere that is
conducive to learning and sharing information. I am
writing to extend an invitation to you and your
organization to exhibit during this symposium and
increase visibility of your organization by
participating as an exhibitor. Additionally, we
offer an advertising opportunity as a compliment to
your exhibit or as an alternative if you are unable
to exhibit.
Why Exhibit at RCMI2010? Exhibiting during this
Symposium provides an opportunity to:
-
Meet and
network with colleagues and fellow RCMI program
faculty, staff and students
-
Strengthen relationships between programs and
institutions
-
Keep up
to date with your colleagues’ work
-
Showcase
your range of experiences, insights, and
collaborative opportunities
-
Launch
new partnerships and collaborative ideas and
products
-
Recruit
faculty and students to your institution and
programs.
We look forward to welcoming researchers and students to
this educational event who are at various stages in
their career. The Research Centers in Minority
Institutions (RCMI) support is provided by the NCRR
Division of Research Infrastructure (NCRR-DRI), a
component of the National Institutes of Health. The
NCRR-DRI provides funding to recruit established and
promising researchers, acquire advance instrumentation,
renovate laboratories for competitive research, fund
core research facilities, and other research support.
To this end, we have implemented an activity that
promotes learning through interactive interpretation, as
a component of a Research Pipeline program. The Research
Pipeline provides information about health technology,
tools about health, prevention topics, and wellness. The
participation of local educational partners will bring
together Grades 9-12, undergraduate, graduate students,
and researchers with the intent of providing an
experience that will inspire those individuals to seek
more scientific and health related information, as a
part of the Symposium. We believe that this will provide
information to these individuals, while introducing your
organization for potential partnerships in the future.
