On May 15 2019, the PHP Career & Program Promotion Service Office celebrated its second Job Fair and Careers. During the activity we had the presence of five (5) agencies and the participation of 26 students of the Public Health Program.

It was held on Tuesday, March 27, 2018. We have the assistance of 97 students, alumni’s and visitors.
La Ponce Health Sciences University (PHSU) ha anunciado la renovación, por tercera vez, de la subvención Partnership to Advance Cancer Health Equity (PACHE) otorgada por el Instituto Nacional del Cáncer (NCI). Esta subvención, bajo el acuerdo U54 entre PHSU y el Moffitt Cancer Center (MCC), establecido desde 2006, garantiza una asignación anual de $1,301,440 durante cinco años, sumando un total de $6,507,200 destinados al Ponce Research Institute (PRI) de la PHSU. La finalidad principal de esta alianza es abordar las disparidades en el cáncer en las regiones sur y oeste de Puerto Rico, así como en la población hispana en la región de Tampa y comunidades circundantes.
Investigadores del Ponce Research Institute (PRI) de Ponce Health Sciences University (PHSU), llevarán a cabo un estudio que permitirá conocer los desafíos que enfrentan los pacientes y sobrevivientes de cáncer, así como sus cuidadores en Puerto Rico. Esta iniciativa, respaldada por una subvención de $5,603,516 del Instituto Nacional de Cáncer de Estados Unidos (National Cancer Institute), tiene como objetivo mejorar la calidad de vida de aquellos que luchan contra el cáncer al promover la salud mental y reducir el estigma asociado a los servicios de salud mental.
