Congratulations to the alumni Dr. Mirna Arroyo!

In 2018, Dr. Mirna Arroyo graduated from the DrPH Public Health Program.  On April 26, 2019 Dr. Arroyo participated in the Latinos and Alzheimer’s Disease Symposium.  At the symposium, over forty (40) students and health professionals from throughout the United States and Latin America, presented their scientific posters.  Dr. Arroyo received a recognition due to the best poster titled, “Determinants of Intention Among Primary Care Physicians in Puerto Rico to Make an Early Diagnosis of Alzheimer’s Disease: An Application of the Theory of Planned Behavior”.  Dr. Arroyo was invited to present her doctoral work in the “Diversity and Disparities Professional Interest Area Meeting”, which will be held on Saturday, July 13, as a pre-meeting, before the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference 2019 (AAIC) in the city of Los Angeles, California from July 14-18.
