Administrative Assistant – School of Dental Medicine

The School of Dental Medicine is recruiting a competent bilingual professional for
the Administrative Assistant position. The candidate should meet the following
qualifications/essential responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in System Office Administration or equivalent.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
• Effective time management, organizational, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under minimum supervision in a collaborative and
  multidisciplinary setting.
• Demonstrate ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Effective social and interpersonal skills. Teamwork oriented.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office programs, digital, and web-based
  technology.
• Experience in educational institutions, higher education preferably.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide clerical and office support to the units under the direct supervision of
  the Associate Dean/Assistant Dean of Research.
• Maintain and organize educational material using web-based learning
  management systems (Canvas, Moodle, Examsoft, and others; training will be
  provided).
• Work with the Associate Dean on special projects or reports as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality, as appropriate.
• Other relevant duties, as assigned.
