The University Ambassador will support a dynamic cross-functional marketing and admissions team as part of Ponce Health Sciences University. This includes PHSU representation in activities at universities, colleges, community colleges, high schools, other educational institutions, and related businesses, as well as critical associations and medical industry leaders, impacting recruitment for all campuses. The primary responsibility of this role is to help implement and execute a best-in-class relationship management outbound recruiting program and to help with the implementation of creative engagement strategies to educate prospective students about the Ponce Health Sciences program offering.
To succeed, the candidate must have the following background and competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Public Relations or related field preferred.
- Education industry knowledge and more than three (3) years in education recruitment.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and CRM management.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in Spanish and English required.
- Experience managing and maintaining a master marketing and advertisement calendar and develop tracking reports to monitor the effectiveness of ad placements.
- Proven project management and organizational skills.
- Experience in developing multi-media presentations is a plus.
- Must possess excellent public speaking skills.
- Comfortable working in a very fast-paced work environment under pressure.
- Proficiently use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook).
- Collaborate and work with others in a team environment.
- Available during non-regular work hours (nights / weekends).
- Be fully bilingual (English and Spanish) is mandatory.
- Must have reliable transportation.
